I have a feeling that the Rick Astley thing was an internet jaunt from inception to completion, whatever that might be. If he wins, the world will be a better place, as once again democracy gets its head handed to it by the giggling citizenry.

I was told about these automatic voting programs set up by /b/. Now, MTV probably don't want Rick to win, as the artists still populating the charts won't be impressed. So, if Rick does win, and this programs are discovered or whatever, might Rick not be deemed to have an unfair advantage and thus no right to the prize?

Check it out: a Nirvana RickRoll. See if you can hang on to your brain after this.

I think that's the best mashup since Baby One More Time Vs. The Real Slim Shady.

Spookiest part may be when Kurt Cobain appears to sync up with Astley.

I like the bit where he's dancing to the crazy Nirvana solo.

With his "I'm a banker during the week, but now it's the Weekend!" dancing?
