The chances were significantly narrowed by the fact that I told you 4 days before that date and the fact that you like me and credit my opinions with some meagre amount of value, at least until you actually WATCH the movie anyway

Yes, but what are the chances that you would say that to me at that time. That information, while true, just delays the chances.
