2001: A Space Oddyssey

Recipe to make 2001 watchable:

* Watch the bit with the monkeys.
* Now skip to the TV interview with HAL and the human crew guys.
* watch the movie. you may fast-forward through particularly slow-moving parts.
* Pretend the movie ends when Dave pulls out HAL's brain.

Aw. I liked all of that movie. But that bit on the moon was the lamest bit.

Its like Star Trek meets the average soap drama minus the intellectand with some big explosions to draw in the kids.
