So it seems that the long running comic series The Walking Dead is going to become a TV series. I look forward to the debut of this series, as a fan of the comic. But with some understandable apprehension about what may be lost in the transfer to another medium.

I have every trade paperback of this comic! Although lately it's looking like he has no plan, that he's just making it up as he goes along. Does he know himself how it ends?

It's still fun. I wonder if they're going to keep it in black and white.

The dude who makes it has been quoted as saying that if he gets to 200 comics he's going to stop making it serious and just throw aliens and time travel and poo in there. As for not having a plan, it feels like the whole comic has gone without a plan, much in the same way that the characters have moved from crisis to crisis.

I think you're right. I couldn't write anything at all if I planned it. It would just kill it stone dead.

With the Batman comics, it really does feel as though they're cooking up crisis after crisis just to see what he'll do - that Cataclysm storyline was great, but forced.
